Basic Coverage
This warranty applies to almost every system and component in your vehicle except for those covered by the other warranties below or those specifically excluded from coverage. In the event of any warranty-related issue, Nissan-trained technicians will rectify the situation using Nissan-approved replacement parts.
Coverage under this warranty applies for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Certain situations are not covered by warranty and are detailed in the warranty handbook.
Powertrain Coverage
The powertrain includes essential components, as these systems allow your vehicle to move. Your engine, transmission, transaxle, and drivetrain are all protected against any unforeseen labor or manufacturing fault for the first 5 years or 60,000 miles. All the components in these systems, except those specifically excluded, are covered for the warranty duration.
Corrosion Coverage
Corrosion occurs when metal is exposed to water and air. It affects most metals and can rapidly destroy their strength and durability. Your Nissan metal sheets and panels are specifically protected against corrosion by specialized coatings applied during the manufacturing process. These coatings don’t require reapplication unless the body metal is damaged.
Perforation is corrosion that creates a hole through metal from one side to the other. If this develops, the affected metal will be removed and replaced at no charge. This protection applies for 5 years and unlimited mileage.
Adjustment Coverage
Adjustments are defined as any corrections or alternations that don’t require replacing parts. They include wheel balancing, wheel alignment, and other components. Any necessary adjustments are performed at no charge for the 1st year or 12,000 miles.
Refrigerant Recharge Only Coverage
If your AC’s refrigerant needs recharge for any reason other than a repair, it will be done at no charge during the 1st year with no mileage limitation.
Limited 12-Month Coverage
This warranty covers your key FOB batteries and I-key. If there are any issues with these items in the first 12 months, they will be replaced at no cost.
Limited 6-month Coverage
Your original wiper blade inserts are covered against any defect for the first 6 months.
