Which 2023 Nissan LEAF Trim is Right for You?

The 2023 LEAF comes in two trims: the S and SV Plus. While the most obvious difference between these two trim levels is the power of the electric motor, there are other differences that drivers will need to compare. Check out the detailed specs for each of these trim levels to figure out the LEAF that meets all of your driving and lifestyle demands.

S

The base S model has a few exterior styling upgrades with black fascia wind deflectors, a modified spoiler, and new tire deflector shapes. For this trim, drivers will be able to choose body colors such as Gun Metallic, Deep Blue Pearl, Brilliant Silver Metallic, Super Black, and Glacier White. The interior for this trim is black cloth with gray trim.

Electric Range

The S trim has a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery, which is paired with a 110-kWh electric motor. The hp for this electric motor is 147 with a torque of 236 lb-ft. The estimated electric range for the motor is 149. Using a Quick Charge Port can charge the LEAF S up to 80% in 40 minutes.

Technology

The base trim has a few important standard features, such as e-Pedal, which helps drivers start, accelerate, and fully stop the vehicle with only the accelerator pedal. The S trim also has an 8-in color display, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

SV Plus

One major exterior difference for the SV Plus is the 17-in aluminum alloy wheels with a five-spoke design. Along with the standard body color options from the previous trim (except for Glacier White), the color selection for the SV Plus includes premium options like Pearl White Tricoat and Scarlet Ember Tintcoat. A two-tone color option of Pearl White and Super Black is also available.

Electric Range

The lithium-ion battery for the SV Plus is 60-kWh, while the electric motor is 160-kWh and generates 214 hp with a torque of 250 lb-ft. The total electric range for this motor is 212 miles. With a Quick Charge Port, the SV Plus can be 80% charged in one hour.

Technology

The SV Plus has ProPILOT Assist as a standard feature. This technology is combined with steering assist, intelligent cruise control, and other driver assist technology. The e-Pedal feature is also standard for this trim, along with door-to-door navigation and NissanConnect EV services.
