The redesigned 2025 Nissan Armada showcases significant updates inside and out, including a new engine option. This spacious, family-friendly SUV shares design elements with the Nissan Patrol and comes in five distinct trim levels, offering flexible seating for seven or eight passengers.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Silver 18-inch wheels are standard on the base SV trim. The SL switches these out for 20-inch machine-finished alloys with painted accents. Both models come with LED headlights. The off-road-focused Pro-4X variant stands out with its 20-inch black-painted alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, LED front fog lights, and aggressive-looking black grille. With 9.6 inches of ground clearance, the Pro-4X is built for rugged adventures.
A panoramic first- and second-row moonroof with a power sunshade adds a touch of luxury to the Platinum and Platinum Reserve models. The range-topping Platinum Reserve offers exclusive two-tone exterior color options.
Engine (Power)
The 2025 Nissan replaces the previous model's V-8 powertrain with a new 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine. It generates 425 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 516 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm and is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission for smooth power delivery. All but the Pro-4X come equipped with rear-wheel drive as standard, but a four-wheel-drive system is available.
Performance
The new engine delivers strong performance while maintaining the Armada's impressive 8,500-pound maximum towing capacity. With its potent new powertrain, the 2025 Armada accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6-6.2 seconds. Fuel economy ratings for rear-wheel drive models are 16 mpg in the city, 20 mpg on the highway, and 18 mpg combined. Four-wheel drive versions earn 15 mpg city, 18 mpg highway, and 16 mpg combined.
The Pro-4X features specialized off-road equipment, including an electronic locking rear differential, adaptive air suspension, and underbody protection. Its off-road geometry provides a 33-degree approach angle, 25.5-degree breakover angle, and 24.5-degree departure angle.
Interior
The 2025 Armada's interior offers flexible seating to accommodate various passenger and cargo needs. It has 20.4 cubic feet of space behind the third row, expanding to 97.1 cubic feet with both rear rows folded.
SV and SL models include dual 12.3-inch displays, while the Platinum, Pro-4X, and Platinum Reserve upgrade to 14.3-inch screens. A 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system comes standard on SL and higher trims. Wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Google Built-In software are standard across the 2025 Armada lineup. Platinum and higher trims add quilted leather upholstery with heated and ventilated front seats, and the Platinum Reserve includes massaging front seats for additional comfort.
Safety Features
Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard on all 2025 Armadas. This suite includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning. Most models also offer ProPILOT Assist 1.1, which adds lane centering and adaptive cruise control.
The Platinum Reserve features ProPILOT Assist 2.1 with expanded driver-assistance capabilities. Advanced features such as a 360-degree camera system and trailer blind-spot monitoring are available. The Pro-4X is equipped with an off-road information display to help navigate challenging terrain.
