2023 Nissan Rogue
A five-seat crossover SUV, the Rogue is one of Nissan's most popular vehicles, and for good reason. It has intuitive technology along with a comfortable and spacious interior to ensure that your ride is enjoyable. After undergoing a fresh redesign just two years ago, the 2023 Rogue is more stylish and desirable. While it competes in a crowded segment, the Rogue offers many quality features at a reasonable price.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Nissan Rogue is available in four trims: S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Every trim comes with LED headlights and tail lights, and the SUV has rear passenger doors that open a full 90 degrees. You can choose a two-tone exterior paint design featuring a body color topped with a black roof. A new Midnight Edition is available for the SV trim, and it adds black wheels, trim, and badging to the vehicle's exterior and black faux-leather upholstery.
Engine (Power)
Power for the 2023 Rogue comes from a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive is available.
Performance
SUVs aren't usually known for their impressive fuel economy, but that's where the 2023 Rogue is different. Expect to get an EPA-estimated 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive drops these numbers to 28 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The SL and Platinum trims, which have larger wheels, get 29 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive, and all-wheel-drive models achieve 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.
Interior
When you step inside the 2023 Rogue, you might recognize styling cues found in other Nissan vehicles such as the Altima and Sentra. The Rogue has numerous storage cubbies and a rich-looking design that improves usability and gives the cabin a modern flair. The base trim includes manually adjustable cloth seats, but moving up one trim adds dual-zone automatic climate control and an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat. The top-of-the-line Platinum trim includes faux-leather seats. All three trims offer heated front seats and a heated steering wheel as well as tri-zone automatic climate control.
Standing tall on the Rogue's dashboard is an 8-inch touch screen display, but an optional 9-inch display is available. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity come standard, while high-end features such as a Bose stereo system and in-dash navigation are available. If technology is an aspect that you crave, consider the Platinum trim that includes a 12.3-inch reconfigurable digital gauge cluster, a 10.8-inch head-up display, and a wireless charging pad.
Safety Features
Nissan implemented structural changes to the Rogue for the 2023 model that enhanced the vehicle's safety. Standard features include blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, and automatic high-beam headlights. You can get Nissan's ProPILOT Assist with adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous for every trim above S.
